"I received the gift of sobriety over 10 years ago by way of a desperate act of intervention by my own sister. Due to the lack of knowledge and understanding of substance use disorder and its treatment I came very close to being loved to death by my own family. I applied what I learned at a treatment facility to my own personal and professional life. I vowed never to be an enabler of destructive behavior with regards not only to my family and friends but also my professional clients. I have made it my life's work to bring the gift of sobriety to all those who seek it of me."
About Ryan
Ryan is a former prosecutor and has been practicing criminal defense in State and Federal Courts for over 20 years. With 11 years of recovery, Ryan has extensive experience with the 12-step approach, and helped over 150 people start their journey to recovery. Applying a hands-on approach, Ryan has acted as a sober escort for a large percentage of those clients. He received expert training from the top intervention professionals in the country in a variety of different methods, and is passionate about educating and empowering families to identify trauma and transitional stress in an effort to break the cycle of substance abuse disorder and dysfunctional behaviors.
